Oyelami, a certified member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) and advocate for innovation, AI, and digital transformation in Africa, has co-authored two peer-reviewed research papers, contributing meaningfully to policy and academic conversations.

He is committed to bridging local realities with global debates, ensuring African entrepreneurs are not left behind in the AI revolution.  

His published paper in Elsevier’s Women’s Studies International Forum, ‘Remote Learning, Lived Experiences, and Adaptation of Rural Jamaican Women During COVID-19,’ sheds light on the resilience and adaptability of rural women navigating digital transitions during the pandemic.

He also presented research at the 2025 Annual Research Forum of the Association of Nigerian Scholars in Hong Kong. His paper, ‘Barriers to Generative AI Adoption in Nigerian SMEs: A TOE Framework Perspective,’ examined how technological, organizational, and environmental factors influence SMEs, especially in Kano State, to embrace the transformative power of Generative AI. 

Beyond academics, he is the founder of Ibraimo Research Guide, a platform dedicated to helping undergraduates, especially in non-STEM fields, conduct and publish impactful research.

Oyelami is passionate about academic leadership, education reform, and inclusive development, particularly by empowering underserved communities through research, education, and policy innovation.

He also received an Award of Recognition and Excellence for his remarkable contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) during his NYSC in Kano State.
