Victoria made history as the first female to graduate with First-Class Honors in the department’s 33-year existence.
From childhood, her curiosity for how things work, sparked by her father’s passion for fixing machines, ignited her love for engineering and problem-solving. Her commitment to excellence later earned her the MTN Foundation Scholarship for outstanding STEM students.
Her undergraduate research on clean energy generation strengthened her interest in energy storage systems and battery technologies, shaping her ambition to pursue a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and contribute to Africa’s clean energy transition.
Beyond the classroom, Victoria is a passionate advocate against Sexual and Gender-Based Violence. Her activism has earned her recognition, including an award from Mrs. Ummi El-Rufai, former First Lady of Kaduna State.
