He gained practical exposure to aquaculture systems, fisheries research, and environmental monitoring during an internship at the Nigerian Institute for Oceanography and Marine Research (NIOMR), where he engaged with real-world challenges in aquatic resource management.
Beyond research, Blessing is committed to science education and mentorship. He has supported academic improvement among secondary school students and actively mentors young Africans interested in pursuing STEM pathways.
He seeks graduate training in animal science and aquatic ecology to advance sustainable aquaculture practices, contribute to evidence-based conservation policy, and strengthen food security across Africa.
