She has strong research interests in agricultural development, smallholder livelihoods, and evidence-based policy solutions for sustainable food systems.
Her undergraduate research examined smallholder farmers’ savings and investment behavior, producing policy-relevant recommendations and resulting in a peer-reviewed publication.
Beyond academics, Florence has contributed to initiatives aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, and participated in programs focused on environmental sustainability, public health outreach, and gender advocacy.
She now seeks graduate training to deepen her expertise in agricultural economics and policy, with the goal of developing inclusive strategies that strengthen smallholder productivity, improve food security, and advance sustainable agricultural development in Nigeria and across Africa.
