The Michael Taiwo Scholar community met in Houston from July 25 to July 27 for the first time in the United States.
This was an opportunity for older MT Scholars – some already established in Corporate America or nearing the completion of their PhD programs – to interact with younger MT Scholars who had just arrived in the U.S. or were still pursuing their graduate studies.
The conference was also an opportunity for our Board of Directors, Donors, Mentors, and Supporters to meet with the beneficiaries and hear, firsthand, from them.
The event celebrated our accomplishments, set sights on the future, and equipped current scholars to achieve even more.
